Demonstrate professional behavior congruent with the social work Code of Ethics and apply strategies to effectively identify, address, and resolve ethical conflicts in professional practice.

 

Professional Identification Paper (BSW)

 

Rationale:

 

 For this objective, I chose to attach my Professional Identification paper that was written in the middle part of my Senior year as a BSW student. I believe this paper serves as a tool in which one can use to better understand my thoughts about ethics and where I personally stand when it comes to ethical decision-making. As a budding professional, I have often questioned how ethics and the ethical practice principles of Social Work play a role at school and at my internship. I think this constant evaluation is an important part of a positive learning experience and the journey to becoming an competent, ethical practitioner.
